Wedding Party Seating

We are having a small informal wedding with reception to follow in my parent’s back yard. Is all of the wedding party required to sit at the head table? Our room to set up tables is limited.

To answer your question, it is OK if the wedding party doesn’t sit at the head table. Since you mentioned limited space, just have the wedding party sit at a regular table or even mixed in with the other guests.

One of the great things about intimate, small weddings is that you don’t necessarily have to follow strict wedding tradition. An idea might be to have a sweethearts table for just the two of you at the front, and have your guests seated wherever there is room.
