Save the Date Notices

My daughter's wedding is May 28, which is the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. She wants to send out Save the Dates because it is a holiday weekend.

Our goal is to do this mid-January. At that point, is it even worth it to send out the save the dates?

Dear Jennifer,

Save the Dates are totally worth at this point! Everyone is in wind down mode from the holidays and probably not even thinking of Memorial Day weekend yet.

So, a nice wedding Save the Date card, magnet or whatever you choose will definitely reserve that weekend on their calendars before anyone can put something on there instead.
